FXS/Line to VoIP Multicast Paging GatewayThe CyberData FXS/Line to VoIP Multicast Paging Gateway takes either Line Level Audio in or analogue extension (FXS) from a PBX FXO port and converts this to Multicast VoIP for Paging. It enables definition of up to 99 multicast paging zones.
Configuration of Zones, and their Multicast addresses are defined through an easy to use web-based configuration. The device connects via a single cable to a standard PoE 802.3af compliant switch.
The FXS interface is easily connected to any PBX FXO Trunk port for direct Extension to Multicast Paging, or alternatively connect it via a Line Level Audio Input - Radio receiver for example - for paging of radio or other audio sources.
