Ingate SIP firewalls and NAT traversal SIParators

Most firewalls installed today do not handle SIP in an adequate way.
Ingate firewalls and Siparators have an integrated SIP Proxy and Registrar to ensure that your VoIP applications work in any environment.

Deployment 1.

Remote office running Hosted IP Phones back to Central office SIP Server.
The office needs a Firewall solution that will not only protect and secure the office from Internet attacks, but they also need SIP aware firewall so they can run multiple IP Phones and not have Nat Traversal connectivity issues.

Many IP Phones on the market do not support NAT traversal very well, and even those that do, tend to have problems when multiple phones are used through the one broadband Internet Connection.

Solution : Ingates transparent SIP Proxy re-writes the SIP and Payload headers so that this scenario will work. It provides the needed SIP aware NAT functions, but also comprehensive Network Firewall Services.

Expanding the Ingate Solution : Add an IPSEC VPN and QOS to traffic shape the remote office Internet access.

More : Add the Ingate VoIP Survival module to provide full VoIP redundancy via a local FXO (PSTN) Gateway (ie Quadro-FXO).

Deployment 2.

Your PBX system needs VOIP Connectivity. The PBX manufacturer has a VOIP option card for its PBX, but you find that it has issues with many of the VoIP carriers.

Solution : Ingates Firewalls and Siparators can be implementing in a Back to Back User Agent Mode. They can in effect create 2 calls where the PBX side and the ITSP side have compatibility problems. Through this 2 call leg setup, SIP options like refer and certain SIP headers can be blocked to ensure that interoperability with the ITSP.

Expanding the Ingate Solution : Add Ingates Remote SIP connectivity, and you can support standards based IP Phones as remote extensions to the PBX

Deployment 3.
